Riding the PNR Train for the First Time...

My thoughts in riding the PNR train. My first time in 25 years.

The usual modes of transportation in our country are of tricycles, buses and the "Legendary" jeepneys. I must admit the train has been out of the running for a looong time, until now...

Make your vote count

Heres my thoughts on the first national automated election.

May 10 at exactly 6:45am, I was already lined up to vote. people are starting come and fill the voting precint.7:00am the voting started, and I was the fourth to place my ballot to the PCOS machine. Voting was fast and easy this time I think all in all It took me 5 minutes to cast my vote. It was such a relief to read message from the machine saying "Congratulations your vote has been counted". It was also nice to hear "congratulations" from the BEIs and the poll watchers. It made me really happy to have made my voice heard.

A Lesson to All Freelancers

When forgetting the most basic can sometimes cost you more.

I love working as a freelancer. You're in control of your time and the projects you would like to handle. I enjoy meeting different people with different needs. Every client has their own requirements, what will work on one will not work on the other. You feel the constant challenge to do more and to give more to satisfy your client. But when everythings done and accomplished, the most satisfying part is when they say thank you for a job well done and ofcourse the hard-earned paycheck.

But every now and then, you work with a client that would take advantage of you. Either your service is terminated because of a sudden change of mind, a hidden agenda maybe? Good for you if you have a contract with them. But what if you don't? You willingly set that aside because they were in a rush, what can you do about it?

2010 A New Beginning

fireworksDecember 31, 2009, a few hours before 12am my website crashed after doing a system update. What's worst is that I had to start all over again from scratch. It sucks, while everyone is enjoying the fireworks, I was glued to my monitor trying to figure out a way to restore my site.
